The transformation of a dilapidated grade II listed Georgian building back into a modern 6 storey town house for a client who cooks and entertains in style. Distinctive floors were designated for working, privacy, entertaining, for guests, and for cooking. The design concentrates on bringing in natural daylight and connectivity to the internal volumes. Modern details, from stainless steel ironmongery to mosaics, teak decking, and lacquered joinery are introduced discreetly to offset the ornate period building fabric.
