HOUSE IN
south kensington

This Queen Anne style mid-19th century house has been re-designed for the client to work, to cook, to relax, to host meetings and to spend the day. With grown-up children abroad, the ground floor public rooms have been turned into a luminous, light-filled living space facing onto the garden and inducing movement to flow from front to back. Clad in a soft natural aluminium, the kitchen gently reflects the sunlight and changing colour throughout the day. The Saarinen Tulip table in black, crowned overhead by a delicate Meshmatics chandelier, are the features in a study which doubles up as dining room.
