Next to Smithfield Market, this two storey 150 square metre apartment in a converted commercial space dates back to 1907. The ground floor room is the client’s day space, where the outside world is observed through double height windows; at the rear, floor-to-ceiling concertina doors fold open to reveal a gloss black kitchen. In the evenings, the linished raw steel and glass stairs lead down into an intimate entertainment room stretching the length of the site, with cupboards full of audio visual equipment for entertainment.
